Lo Tri Tham, also known as Lỗ Trí Thâm or Hoa Hòa Thượng, is a legendary character from the classic Chinese novel "Water Margin." Originally an official named Lỗ Đạt, he is famed for his immense strength and martial prowess. After uprooting a willow tree at Tran Quoc Temple, he became a monk and later joined the band of outlaws at Liangshan Marsh, where he was known for his loyalty and sense of justice.
Reflecting his formidable physical strength, Lo Tri Tham moves as a rook, vertically or horizontally any number of squares. His movement on the chessboard symbolizes his unyielding and direct approach in battle.
Once per game, Lo Tri Tham can perform a powerful 'charge' move, advancing straight in any one direction and pushing any one piece directly in front of him to the next empty square, friend or foe. This ability showcases his legendary strength and the ability to change the dynamics of the battlefield.
